Making it easier to use all of your Apple products

Macintosh, iPad, iPhone, iPod and AppleTV

Macintosh, Peripherals, iPad, and iPhone Setup

If setting up your Macintosh, iPad or iPhone seems daunting and you don’t want to wade through pages of documentation, I can help set up your computer, printers, scanners, hard drives and other hardware, install software and make sure your system is up to date with the latest upgrades.

Internet Setup

When you want to start using high speed internet with Qwest or Comcast I can help you install the modem, connect it to your computer and help you activate your eMail account. We can discuss the pros and cons of POP and IMAP accounts and why you might want one over the other. If you need to share your internet access with more than one computer or want to set up a wifi hotspot in your home, I can help you make a choice of routers and install and setup your access point for wireless internet access.

iCloud, AppleID, Handoff and Continuity

iCloud is a suite of services that keeps your contacts, calendars, bookmarks, reminders, notes and other data in sync between the various devices you own, allows you to keep documents in the cloud, keep them in sync and work on them from different devices, or stream and share photos among other things. I'll help you setup and manage your AppleID, iCloud and iTunes store accounts.

In-home Networking

If you wish to share or transfer files from one Macintosh to another, want to setup a shared or networked printer, setup Instant Messaging (IM) accounts (like Skype, Facetime or Messages) or share information between two or more Macs, iPads and iPhones, I can discuss the options and help you implement your decision.

Training and Tutoring

To get more out of the fantastic software that comes on your Macintosh, iPad and iPhone, I can sit side by side with you in the comfort of your home and train or tutor you in the iLife programs (iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand and iWeb) and show you how to use and get more out of your Mail, Address Book, Safari and other OS X applications.

Consulting and Upgrades

I can help you with upgrades, discuss the consequences and costs associated with upgrading, and compare them to the cost of buying a used or new computer system. I try to give you the information you need to make an intelligent, informed decision and to match you with a store that I think will give you good quality service and support.

Your Macintosh computer needs regular, routine maintenance to keep it performing well. This means keeping the operating system, programs and peripheral software up-to-date as well as the training it takes to better utilize the software on your Macintosh, make you more productive or to just have fun!

MacHelp4me can help you get more productive and creative with your Macintosh and more...
